It’s long been my vision to have a magazine that would adequately convey our collective passion for the game of golf. In the process of producing this magazine, we were often discouraged by those we approached for assistance because of the relatively small demographics of the game in the Philippines. It won’t work, they said. Filipino golfers won’t buy magazines, they said. You’ll have a hard time selling ads, they said. You don’t have enough content to fill a monthly magazine, they said. But we struggled and toiled; working on other related matters until the time was right. All in God’s time.

That time is now. Welcome to the maiden issue of Impact!

It is remarkable how quickly it all came together. Investors, writers, photographers, sales and marketing people expressed their availability and desire to participate in the creative process. The team is a publisher’s dream team. There is valuable experience and passion at every position. There is maturity, wisdom and there are no illusions about the task at hand. And there is the unflappable, undeniable passion of the game of golf.

Impact is our magnum opus; our masterpiece. It is the sum of our experience in the business and our desire to express our love for golf in print. It encompasses every aspect of the Filipino golfer’s lifestyle and I hope it will be your companion in the years to come.
